Band Names

I love the inventiveness of the some band names, even when they make no sense whatsoever, and I wonder about the inspiration behind them. These are a few of my recent favorites--note the common thread (though maybe the last one is cheating):

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM
DONNA THE BUFFALO
DRUNK HORSE
NASHVILLE PUSSY

Why are so many of my WOD's "p" words?

Pluff--This word seems redundant. Why not just use the word "puff?" I guess that's why it faded from use. I like it anyway. The context in which I found it was "pluff mud." How am I going to work it into ordinary conversation without sounding as if I've had one glass too many? *L*
